How do you keep coming up on clean FC's like this for pennies? Out here in Cali they go for a fortune. Stupid drift tax. Looking forward to seeing how you progress with this!

Come up North... Plenty of FCs. Its the FDs that are a headache.

I always scope out all of the NorCal craigslist pages looking for random cars. I never find good FC's, especially not S5's that are in nice shape.

I can PM you about it-you wont believe the deal I got on it. :drinkers:

And yes I did not realize how much better the S5 body is! Looks aftermarket compared to my old S4

Best of luck with her..... I've been compiling parts for my build back home as well.
My chassis a little weathered but I'm hoping she'll clean up good.

Best of luck with your project.

What mounting kit did you go with...

What application is that turbo from? From what I've read its obviously a diesel application, but it says marine and they usually come on Detroit diesels (which make MANY different applications). Whatever it is that bitch is huge and your car is one of the cleanest FCs that I've ever seen.

Sweet. I can't wait to see this JP. I think you were the first person I talked to on Tuners years ago and have just bought a Mirage to build because of what you've done in the past. This one should be fun.
