I attended my 2nd DSM/Evo shootout this past weekend and saw a car that I couldn't put my finger on...I had never seen one before.

This one was grey and pretty quick! I passed it walking back and forth from the car to the staging lanes.

I finally stopped to check it out. The side said "All Wheel Drive" and the rear said "Eagle Summit".

I had to have one.

So this past week Ive been on CL, Autotrader, Vast and such looking for a decent one. BOY! Are these things rare. Or rare-er than most.

So luckily I found one close. Although its not an AWD or a 5 speed, its still a summit, and a TEAL one at that LOL :o

Its a '94 FWD Summit DL. 4G64 motor. The car has 180K.

Any way on to the pics. I scoured our local junk yards to source some parts that were so-so on the car.

The day I picked it up.

We immediately started tearing out everything. The carpet was NASTY. Drivers seat had nothing but oil under the mat.

Great find and these are good little cars. I've owned 4, 2 FWD's and 2 AWD's. There are a few in the local junkyards and one is actually my old one. A FWD that I converted to a manual and it has ABS and rear discs which are really rare so let me know if you need any parts.

The one I pulled from my local yard has rear discs. Its an LX. Does that mean it has ABS?

Should I go back and pull the disc brakes off of it and the modulator for the ABS?

I would because they are quite rare. I'm sure you can get the rear discs to work without adding the ABS stuff. To answer your question though, all of these wagons that had 4 wheels discs also had ABS.
