Well I kinda got the car already "built" per say but I will be updating from now on. Where to start I guess a mod list should be first so here it goes...

The car is a 92 eagle summit es so it has/had all the bells and whistles with the exception of the dohc engine. It started life as a 1.5 auto but I swapped it over to manual.

Engine:
6 bolt w/eagle rods wiseco pistons, stock 2g head and cams on a fel-pro gasket with arp's
Drivetrain:
waiting on a 91 fwd turbo trans (destroyed the km210 that was in it) gonna install a sbr insert into it and have a southbend organic/feramic disk and act 2600 pp
Fuel:
walbro 255 re-wired, stock lines w/uprgraded feed and return, aeromotive fpr, precision 1000cc injectors
Forced Induction:
FP manifold, Holset HX35 w/bep bolt on housing, punishment racing o2 housing, ebay 44mm wastegate, ETS street IC,Tial Q, 1g throttle body, 2g intake manifold, sbr manual boost controller
Exhaust:
2.5 to 3" downpipe, 3" bullet style cat, 24" resonator with a turn down
Electronics:
gt wiring harness, 90 electronics, ecmlink v3 on speed density, aem wideband
Cooling:
afco scirroco style radiator, 16" slim fan
Suspension:
19 year old garbage springs and shocks, yoshi fab front and rear strut bars.

Here are a few pics from the build,

how I received it

5 speed swap was time consuming!

I need to get a current shot of the engine bay since I switched over to speed density. And here is whats left of my km210 I broke last week.

Thanks guys, the wheels are tenzo r sinko r's. Got my trans today now all I have to do is split it open and install my sbr insert. I also ordered a new clutch disk, I went with a south bend organic/feramic disk. I have a stock disk in with the act right now that i'm sure wasn't gonna last long anyway. I hope the disk suits me well, it only cost $215.00! All in all I was kinda glad the f5m31 took a dump, I could not stand driving it on the highway. I will takes some pics off the insert install in the next few days when I get around to installing the trans.

Nice build, let know how the SBR insert goes driving wise.

Thanks man, it's working flawlessly. It is tracking nice and straight now, unfortunately the tranny I got off of a dude on tuners is grinds horribly in third. :(

This is now a full part out! The shell isn't worth anything with all the dents and stuff. So pretty much anything csm related and 1g related is for sale.

I got into a little trouble in it. Basically a dick state trooper pulled my tags for an improper exhaust. Also I don't think he liked me roadting the tires through third lol. He wrote me up for wreckless driving and improper exhaust. He noticed my dump tube coming out of my hood, so he was bitching about that being exhaust. So I told him to put his hand over the tube while it was running to feel for the exhsust, lol he clearly seen the soot from when the wastegate opens up but was so dumfounded when there wasn't anything coming out of it at idle. So he crawled under the car an seen that my exhaust stopped just before my rear passenger area. I have a cat and 24" resonator that has a 45 degree turn out on it, and he still took the tags. He only did this  to get back at me because I made it clear he couldn't tow the car because it was on private property (my works entrance road).

Well its been a few months since I have updated this, so here is a little rundown. I had an exhaust put on after I got rid of the Talon I had and put it back on the road! Couldn't be more happier than that decision, I now know why I always hated DSM's as a shell! never again. :finga:

Car has been running awesome regardless of the bad third gear up till last night! It got really hard to put into gear casually driving it home and thankfully I got all the way there. The car will not go into gear while the engine is running but shift fine when off, also the clutch will drag and start to move the car when depressing the clutch fully and starting the car. These are all the signs of the fact that my really expensive South Bend disk has spit out a spring or two. :(

That's only the beginning of my woes, I know the trans needs dropped so the first thing I started on was draining it. What came out looks to be metallic silver paint  , so now I'm looking at replacing the trans too. It did grind in third but I didn't shift third hard or at high rpm's to combat the grinding? Oh well, So now I am looking for fwd trans if anyone knows where I can get one.

Sucks man! How was the SBR up till then? I wish I tried it, I just couldnt risk losing a trans, fwd trans hard to find here or people want way to much for a fwd 300+ That sucks man, I remember when i had to pull my trans, and found out my PP had completely split down the middle lol Best of luck to you man!

There is a 92 turbo eclipse down here in one of the yards. Been thinking hard about pulling the 6 bolt out before they crush it. If I do the trans will come out with it. Pretty sure they will let it go for around $100-$150.
