Wow, the car looks amazing. Honestly, this is one of the colts that started it for me last year when I found it on Cardomain. I think the owners name was "codeman" or something like that. Anyways I love your colt, hope to see some great progress with this buld, you definitly have a good foundation for it already. :D

I love it too, not too many yellow cars on the road, so it's a real eye catcher. And I'm searching for a donor now, found some good ones, I'm just a couple hundred off at the moment. Since I've sold my Porsche 944, I've got an extra $1200 to search, but locally, there's not much going on in the DSM world. I may be going on a road trip come January to snag a good donor.

I dunno yet, I'd like to find a fairly low-milage 4G63T with a tranny and wiring harness for less than 2K. So, I've been searching as far south as Mississippi and north as Ohio. Just trying to find a good one. But, I'm sure, unless I find a hell of deal, that I'll be looking to start the trip around late January to mid February.

They pop up now and then. Just be sure to have money to jump on it when you see one.

Same to you man. I had a blast, Can't wait to put on my new struts and springs. Gotta raise my rear end up a little. Maybe next time we could plan out AWD? lol. Good luck with yours, looks like it coming along well.

Update on Tina, installed 4G37 parts to see what kind of a difference in power I can get, and it does make a difference. Not crazy fast, but I actually have usable power now. Although, I was in a hurry and installed the larger throttle body without a gasket :/. Picked a gasket up today, installing tomorrow, hopefully I see even larger gains, but I don't expect a change.

Things I've noticed on the 4G37 upgrade, noticeable low end power difference, although not drastic. A MUCH smoother idle. A lot better throttle response, not as jumpy after getting on the gas.

Also, tax season is coming up, I'm getting a large chuck back this year, so now begins my search for a donor 4G63T. Won't be long.

Still need to install my Koni Yellow rear struts I picked up off CSM Shaun. lol. I'm getting there. Also, order a set of strut bar mounts, gonna test to see if there is a difference in handling before or after.

The biggest difference in the performance of your car probably came from having new sensors with 4g37 stuff. When I scanned your car you had a few that were dead if you remember.

Yea, but the week before I put on the 4G37 stuff, I had replacement MAS and TPS put on, just to get rid of the codes and because they only cost me $40 for the pair. That made a bigger difference than the 4G37 upgrade lol

Been struggling with an 02 sensor until today. Autozone and Advance only had universal 02's, so I ordered a replacement today from rockauto.

I was one of the ones responsible for the original turbo colt craze around Louisville. Rob_O had one with a 4g63 and I loved it. I picked up a black Mirage Turbo from North Carolina and brought it back to Louisville. Adam Blevins loved it so much he bought Rob_Os from him and they just caught on from that point. I sold my 4g61T swapped 91 base model to a kid in Salem, IN so that car should still be pounding around up there somewhere.

I have an extra 4g61T trans if you need one at some point. I don't think I have anything else form the one I parted out.
