I hope it is semi-safe. But yea, The goal is to make you look at it and be afraid. For multiple reasons.

A few more things. In a few down moments between working out the bugs on my Samurai's new engine, I finished up a ew things. I made and welded in the rear transmission mount, I finished all but on vacuum line, mounted the boost controller and finished the oil cooler lines and setup. The only line left is the reference for the fuel pressure regulator. But that will have to wait until I get started on the fuel system and figure out where the regulator is going to be mounted. But closer to the end result still.

No problems with the water pump belt. We run two cars that way. Just run a snug belt and no issues to 9000rpm.

Curious as to why you didn't go with leaf springs, could have mounted them under the frame out of sight and kept all the room in the bed? Hope your girl likes milkshakes, that's gonna be a rattley ride. Hockey pucks make great engine/trans isolators.

I would never own a turbonetics product, so I can't tell you.

The bed is not going to be useful at all. That is one reason why. It will not have a floor in it. And I wanted a modern more smooth riding suspension. The coilovers will ride just fine I am sure. They will likely be tight because of the 400lb front springs and 250lb rear springs. If you look, there is rubber under the motor mounts and tranny mount. I used a rubber floor mat. I was $15 at home depot.

Oh alright I would figure you had ran turbonetics before, cuz I seen another post how bad you were talking about them.. But yet you never tryed them for yourself.... And prefer ebay knock off over a very well known brand like turbonetics?

I never said I didn't have experience. Just that they had not been on my cars. The land speed talon we race uses a turbonetics godzilla bov. I think its a pos, but it holds now that we have modified it. And we have had two deltagates. They work ok two I guess. A little hard to mess those simple parts up. But we have had turbos fail and intercoolers not work worth a shit. People will never understand, just because it is a brand name, does not mean it is a quality product. Honestly, how many vehicles period do you see running turbonetics stuff over tial and garrett? There is a reason for it.

I have had a rough few days trying to figure this out. I was dead set on using the dodge front end and fenders. Well with the way things worked out and how everything sits, the fenders were 16-18" too short. I thought long and hard, and could only come up with two solutions. Run just the grill or run the grill with some mini fenders and keep the headlights I moved and welded into them.

What does everyone think of how it looks now? This is forcing me into one of these two scenarios, unless I cut it off and just run like most of the other rat rodders do and run some old 20's or 30's era grill by itself.

I did make a hinge system for the front end that allows the front end to tilt forward. Right now the grill is 3.5" off the ground. I made the hinge system out of two different sizes of tubing and some old steel fence post used to line a property.
