Did that Galant by chance come from Jacksonville? I ask because that one was missing it's front bumper. I never did get any pictures though.

Now that I think of it, I have seen these cars in the Junkers with Actual DSM Badging/labels in the engine bay and body panels. So is this considered a DSM? haha. Avengers are the same with the DSM Logos.

Yes to be correct it can be considered a dsm. But I only say this because it too was assembled in Normal, Illinois like the TEL's. One look at these cars and you can tell right off there is'nt ANY Chrysler influence or design of any kind. Oh and Only 1657 GS units made, 1000 of them were sold in 94 and the remaining 657 were rebadged for 95.

Once you AWD swap it you should get a badge for the dash. You could pic almost any number you want.

The Gs of 94 / 95 was the only 4g64 dohc ever created in the u.s. according to records, all other 7th gen galants were on the single cam but swappable of course.

I have kept my eyes out for a gs for about two years now, haven't found one for sale ever.

My earlier post with my friend Mitch's car his was a Sohc auto at first.

Yeah I had my eye on this car when my lil bro's friend showed me it. It was immaculate then, but I still had my Colt GT then. It breaks my heart to see what he did to it in just one year. I had'nt mentioned earlier but he ran it without any oil and locked the bottom end up! He was just the second owner and I have every receipt for any parts and all work that has been done to it! I really want to build the 2.4 but I think i'm goin to just put a stock 2.0 in it from the many I have around. I'm gonna pull the motor and start on the wiring this weekend and document my process. more to come! :)

Yeah the galants/avenger/sebring have the 2g suspension, so everything fits like a glove once you use the same info doing a AWD swap on a gst or spyder. I always wanted to do the 4g6t and AWD swap on a avenger because they look so sick! Keep up the progress, I wanted see this thing swapped, lol. :supz:

A buddy of mine found one of these in the yard and yanked the valve cover from it. It is all crazy-reinforced on the underside. Looking at this thing makes me want one for my next project.

update: I have taken some pics of a little progress but my desktop has taken a dump on me and my laptop does'nt have a Sony pro duo slot! I've been searching for the cameras cable but that has come up missing. Looks like I need to go get a new cable(dont know if i can get older cybershot) or get a external card reader.

Went and looked at the black galant today, its a sohc car and its in decent shape but i decided against getting it. I've got to many cars as it is! But the main reason for not buying it is the fact that I purchased my second CSM today! Got a good deal on a 89 Plymouth Colt E, the bodys is in good shaped except for the once red paint on it. The interior is that of a 22 year old car ripped here and there and also with the trademark cracked dash and broken bezel. So i have decided to put the Galant on the back burner untill I can find a suitable awd 2g to rob the parts off of, and do a quick turbo swap in the colt.

Fail. Finish that stinking Galant. Too many AWD swapped CSM as it is.
