I have an elantra too mines a 1.6 I was tempted to turbo the 1.6 just to blow it up too but i figure the clutch would just burn up right away. But i could be wrong. Who knows what clutch is in there. Maybe somebody should look into this...

What i mean is the stock (probably on its last legs) clutch in my elantra would likely slip under added power. If im going to pull the motor to do clutch ill do 4g63t and f5m33 while im at it.

The clutch in my Scummit is holding around 200hp and cutting 2.3 second 60' times right now with no issues. 400hp will definitely spin any OE Mitsu clutch though...

The turbo is in but I couldn't install and sidemount because the battery needs to go in the back to fit the intake and upper intercooler pipe, lol. So for now I have it non-intercooler on 8 psi with 390s, B&M flow commando FPR and the B&M gauge on the filter. SAFC 1, dsm awd 2.5 down pipe, and a AEM wideband. Once I figure out what's wrong with my photo bucket I posted the pics up.

We have talked about the wheels and what he is going to do is use those wheels to put full slicks on because it's the perfect offest for fat boy slicks. and the other 2 with some cheater slicks so he has the opition of both.

Yeah I didn't know he flow that well until I asked about it and seen it in person, my boy has some crazy skills flowing. This kid is all around natural, he went to the track NEVER raced in a drag strip before and made 5 runs which his 2nd run cut his time from 15.0 to 14.5. By the end of the day he was at 13.7 and his ET time was a .132 which is dam near good for his first time out. On top of this, he had a STOCK N/T clutch STOCK N/T trans and no tuning device what so ever!! To me that's crazy, lol.
