Sweet, the only time I can ever find these is in the junkyard. Looks like a great start! I used to have a 1980 D50 sport, yellow with crazy stripes. I miss driving that thing! :P

Do you really know where there is one of these in a Junkyard? I need the center console to complete the interior! Let me know!

Cuz I would rock the fruit and banana out of that! I really like the black one too. Id swap it to a 4g63 or a Starion motor and sport it. What would really kick ass would be a 6g72tt swap and rwd. Now that would be the shit.

Does anybody know if thefront suspension and hub/brake components of this car are compatible with Starion - Conquest? I found some beautiful 15" wheels at a junk but they are 5 Lug. Id love to upgrade the front brakes as well. The rear end would probably end up with an explorer rear. Thanks

I believe some of the stuff is, you would have to check to be sure. The ones I saw were in the you-pull yard in abq a few years ago.

Looks good! I almost bought a '78 Arrow GT back in '07, neat little cars. The thing would be a handful with a decent amount of power

And what transmission do you think he should do to accomplish this?

The 4g63 set-up should fit, maybe with some fabrication on the suspension or fron CVs. The 6g72 set-up will almost certainly not fit.

People are putting 6g72's into old Colt /Galants, so I'd think that it would fit.

Yeah? You are playing devil's advocate now. HAHA

The 6g72 swap has to be over-kill though. Way too heavy and parts are expensive.

I was asking about how he thought you could AWD swap one of these chassis... maybe he didn't realize it wasn't transverse engine :)

The ones I've seen in progress are not a TT swap, but I agree, its go to be an overkill for the car. Just neat to see something different.
