I haven't updated the thread in a while, here are some pics of what has been done lately:

Built a new water pipe out of 304ss, it hugs the head pretty tight so I have ample clearance for the ext wg plumbing:

I also built a 4" intake pipe for the holset as well as a bracket setup to mount the trans cooler under the bed of the truck:

Built a completely new trans crossmember for the th350:

Thanks Chris, Rollie-I am planning to drive and enjoy it! I am not sure where this build will end up, I have the other truck chassis that will be much more serious, I just want to get this one running and on the road for now. The leaf spring suspension may limit me on power

I don't plan to haul much in the truck other than haulin ass

Moser billet slip yoke, solid forged 1350 u-joints.

I forgot to update this, I built the hotpipe saturday, it is a very tight fit for the GM maf, but it clears everything. The upper straight tube that goes to the throttle body is a piece of aluminized for now, I need to buy some more ss straight. I may also weld on some beads on the ends later. Once I go speed density, it will be much less bulky :)

Are those your welds John? Mig or Tig? Looks like you're moving right along.

I figured they were but I wasn't positive. What setup are you using? I really need to pick up a nice tig machine and a plasma cutter too once I have the funds. For now they are just part of my wish list though.

The welder I used for those welds is my little HTP Invertig 160. It only does dc, so you can only weld up mild and stainless steel, and it runs on 120v or 240v. Miller has some smaller machines as well, if you want something a little larger that does ac/dc, they typically run around $1500-2k new(last I checked). I also have a Harris dual flow meter regulator so I can back purge ss tubing.

Pulled the engine/trans back out to do some work, got the wg plumbing all tacked together the other day, then I snapped some pics of all of the intake/hotpipe/exhaust bolted up. Here are some pics:

What is the point for the flex pipe on the wastegate line?

To allow some movement for thermal expansion.
