I heard Denso/nippon/greddys are the best, Extreme PSI called and told me they were out of Denso 720's, but I substituted pte 780's, I'm using link V3, should I be fine with idle and gas mileage? I think I'm over worrying, but when you invest over 2500 in your car, everything must be right.

PTE injectors are crap, but you should be able to tune it well enough using the link to the point where it wouldn't run that much different, it will just take that much more effort to get the car to run like stock and get good mileage with larger injectors. Denso injectors are what Mitsu's come with stock, so the deadtime values are what they should be, so when you go larger you don't have to spend as much time getting the car to idle smooth or drive smooth. The PTE injectors are made by rochester, they have a totally different spray pattern, and totally different deadtime values. Have fun with that.

*edit* - Since when was $2,500 a lot of money to sink into a car? If I added up all the money I've spent on DSM's/CSM's over the years, I'd probably have a pretty substantial down payment on a house.

Ecm link shows that the deadtime on the pte 780's is less than the denso 720's.

Due to family constraints, $2500 is the budget I have for the car, after that all I have is 120$ a month that I can either save up or spend on my car.

Yeah Tony well there are SOME of us with a wife and kid(s). We all can't be so lucky as to live at home with our "room mates". I'm just busting your balls bud. If you've got it, go balls out right?

PTE and FIC are exactly the same thing, they're both made by Rochester. They're not exactly crap, but I don't like them, especially if you're trying to tune on a stock ECU.

Would you consider Ecmlink a stock ecu? or do you mean safc, gm maft, ect.

I love FIC injectors, I currently have PTE880's my next purchase will be FIC bluemax 1450's.

With an ECMlink you can change deadtime values, so that helps. I mean just using a stock ECU with an S'AFC or something similar.

I ran Siemen/Deka injectors and really liked those. I'm going to be using Bosch 1600's in my race car really soon, those have a very very nice spray pattern to them.

You will probably have the same cruise hiccup everybody else has, they are known to break up around half throttle other wise I myself would be going a little bigger since I'm on E85

I am on the fence about getting a manual boost controller, or a electronic one. But what would be even better is if I could throw my boost settings in a map. So the question is, how easy would it be to actuate boost(if possible) with V3?

I've never had good luck using a boost solenoid to control my boost. Manual boost controllers are simple, cheap, and reliable. Why mess with success?

2.0L turbo cams should be enough for 300.
ECMLink lite is cool and all, but the best bang from the buck is gonna be an ostrich with 2g maf and 660's or 720s. you might have to rev it out to make the power (like 8k) but the itemslisted should work pretty well together. although 270 on 91 horsepiss is more likely whats gonna happen. pick up some torco fuel additive, its good stuff and will at 8 or so actual octane points (91 to 99) to pump gas for dyno fun.

and a 10 dollar ebay mbc is just as effective as a 80 dollar hallman pro.

If speed kills, then i shoulda been dead awhile ago. There is no such thing as "Too Much Power". There is no excuse for a lost race. Do you view the rev limiter as a fun limiter?or as a shift point? And we all know, more boost=more fun.

In trouble  :
The banjo bolts for both water sides of the 11b don't fit on the EVO3 16g. I'm guessing I'm going to have to get the rear water pipe, front water pipe, and waterside banjo bolts from a 14b. I already have new oil feed/exit lines for the evo3 16g, so this isn't an issue on the oil side
Project is now screeching to a halt till I find a way to get these parts, and I need them to get home back to San Diego on Saturday...

hopefully the Honda boys haven't stripped every last 14b from the junkers :x

Rookie mistake. The 11B is a TD04 center cartridge and the 16G is TD05. They are not interchangeable. You need 14b water and oil lines and all the associated hardware.
