Post subject:  EAGLE SUMMIT,AWD BUILT ON THE 7 YEAR PLAN BUT WORTH IT!!!!!!

Well i have been working on this project, off and on, for about a year. I haven't posted it yet because of the slow progress but I am now getting somewhere. I got my 9 year old son into motocross last year and put the summit on hold till last fall.
I started with a remarkably clean 91 Summit that I found locally. I put in a 4 bolt from a 94 talon and a harness from the same vehicle. I made a fuel cell and all my mounts.I will post a very boring video as soon as I figure out how to do it.

I think this link works. It is boring and I shot this at the shop during business hours. I know I will need the same size tires on the front and rear but if you can suffer through it you can see my project. If you have any questions just ask. Special thanks to mirageman for answering my stupid newbie questions every time without complaining!!

Nice work, man! That is gonna be one hell of a sleeper when you're done. A lot of people really ghetto-fy that swap, it's nice to see someone doing it right.

Nice! It's takes time to do something right the first time....I get that. Can't wait to see a video of the car on the road, so keep up the good work you're doing.

Yeah, I don't know how people do this without one! This has become a big project for me but I am starting to see it come together. I work on it for a while and then I feel like I hit a wall. If I leave it alone for some time I then jump back in to get to the next wall.
Thanks,
Mark

Are those front rims 300zx rims? I think they look good.

Just an fyi, you need to run all 4 rims/tires matching sizes or you will mess up the tcase/rear end.

Looks nice though!

Motocross for my son ended so back on my way overdue project to get some attention!
Mechanically I am finished. It was a real project fitting such a big intercooler in the stock bumper! I am down to electrical purgatory and exhaust. I have soooo many plugs under the hood! It looks like the Eclipse harness has 3 times the plugs I will need. I also cannot find the plug for the turn signal lights in the bumper??? I looked for about a hour today and both left and right are nowhere to be seen!
