Its mounted on to the bottom of the eclipse dash using some spare angle iron. Mounts very solid and in a decent place to view while driving. No need to cut obnoxious holes anywhere.

Update:

Recently I have been getting alot of questions about how the 2.4l swap went in with such little effort. I updated the information/pictures on the first page so people can see it again. I broke the links a few months ago and was too lazy to fix them. Feel free to ask any questions here so everyone can see.

I get 2 people a week asking how the 2.4 swap fits into a colt so effortlessly. I really need to make a good write up with pictures one of these days.

Just wish people asked about my car and not my fathers...*grumble grumble* lol.

Today I snagged a black upper wing, mirage filler panel, mistu grill emblem and mirage cluster with tach from the u-pull-it yard. Grand total was $60 for all of it.

My hatch has a decent sized dent in it so I guess I will pull a different one, repair it, paint it and add the wing and filler panel holes.
