Ive been wanting to share info and pics about this car, but i havent had time. This is karims 95 mirage, me and karim have been working on this thing for around 6-8 months now on are spare time. Theres still alot of work left on the car i will be updating this thread with pics and info.

car is currently getting painted i will update this thread after paint job is
done, but for now here are some pictures of what happend this week...

for those of you that dont know who roque is, roque is a highly skilled welder/fabricator, his shop ( ROQUE MACHINE SHOP) is located on highway 41. heres a link to his shop forums Roque Fab & Dyno - Tampa Racing

i highly recommend this guy for all welding and fabrication work

today we put the car on the dyno to get some baseline numbers.

with a start up map, NO TUNING AT ALL the car put down 371whp 319tq..
timing was at 9-10 deg and a/f ratio was 10 flat across the board.

next week, after some wiring issues are fixed i'll play with the tuning a bit.

I am liking the mounts and traction bar setup. Out of curiosity, what would he charge to make another duplicate set? Also what tranny are you using?

$1500 for everything u see in the pics...

1g tranny with a 2g bell housing.

and i am excited to see it moving along.. its my best friends car.

motor:
9.1 .20 over wisco pistons
eagle rods
new oil pump
new water pump
all seals and gaskets are brand new

head :
stock o-ringed head
bc springs
bc ratianers
bc 280 cams
ferrea 1mm oversize valves
3 angle valve job

turbo setup :
obx manifold reenforce and ceramic coated
fp3582 hta
3" o2 housing and downpipe
41mm tial wastegate
manidold and wastegate will sone be replace for a custom manifold that will place the turbo facing forward un top of
the intercooler by the radiator.

ic:
precision 600hp core modified to fit the mirage
3" alum upper pipe
2.5" alum lower pipe
tial bov

drivetrain:
1g built awd tranny built by lancerman
ptt twin disk ceramic disk
ptt t-bearing

elctronics:
dsmlink v2
2g maf sensor ( for not till he buys aem ems)
boost gauge
coolant temp
aem wideband
fuel gauge
oil pressure

fuel:
13 gal alum fuel cell
high flow fuel filter
aoromotive fpr
a-1000 fuel pump
all new stainles steel lines
880cc injectors ( for now till aem ems is purchase then the 1600 are going in)



the car will get a ford 8.8 rear end new gears and a spool mounted on a ladder bar setup of a 4 link setup.

today 408whp 328tq added 4-5 deg of timing to it.

10.8 a/f 15deg of timing.

Great local shop ran a little test cam teat (with dyno numbers) on those BC 280 cams your running. Very interesting results.
