If anyone wants plates made I can do it as long as I know the pillowball dimensions.

There is just as much as any other ones. There are 4 threaded holes on the pillowballs, I just put them on the furthest outer ones.
Aah nice.

So owning a brand new house, a modded talon and trying to build a colt has proven itself to be a little more challenging than I initially thought. I have been putting most of my efforts towards my talon lately but have been putting some time into the colt. Here are some pictures of 1 of the dual piston calipers I bought from 89MiragMan. These things were extremely dirty and it took me about an hour of cleaning before painting. I still need to bake the paint on which I plan on doing with a heat lamp.

Those look great, I'll probably take mine apart and put them in the blast cabinet and toss on some new rubber hardware and seals while they're apart. Rockauto has them fairly cheap. What kind of paint is that? They will look new when you're done.

It is VHT brand caliper paint. The paint needs to be baked at 200 degrees so I plan on using heat lamps instead of an oven. I would have taken them apart but the risk of me screwing them up was much higher than leaving them alone.

Idk if you'll be down here anytime soon Harv but if you are, I can run them through our oven at work to bake them out.

Ok, thanks. I am not sure when either but I may just hand them to my dad and let him use the heat lamps at the dealership he works at so they can pay for the electric bill. I am just worried about the seals.

I would think they get hotter during normal use than they would under a heat lamp so you should be fine. Its super easy to pop the pistons out and replace the seals though. :P

Nice find but we are actually quadruplets  . Natedog and Turbokid own identical white base hatches with the black bumpers.

Be sure to take some pics and post updates. It gives others inspiration and the want to get out there and work on their rides. It does for me anyway. Those 92 GVR4 wheels would look good on the white one too.
dr. 2.0 has black bumpers too

Much like 89MIRAGEMAN I have to spend money on my house. The problem with building a house is that you have to put a lawn in. I haven't done much on it lately due to this and the fact that I have been working on my talon. The good part is that my talon runs again and runs very well. I have some rust repair to do on the front of the colt which is really crappy work. I am getting in the garage today and will take some pictures of where I am currently.

I got around to doing some work on the colt this weekend. Here are the pictures of the GIANT fmic I installed. It is the biggest precision intercooler that is rated for 850 hp.

I have touch up to do on the bumper as well as the cover. I also finished removing the sound deadening off of the floor. I will take pictures and post them up tomorrow of where the floor is at. I better get moving on this thing if I want to drive it to the shootout.

Since I am building this car on as much of a budget as I can I decided to build a rear mount alternator bracket instead of purchasing one. Here are the pictures.

I still need to get the tension arm fabricated. I am not going to do it how the Jay Racing kit does. Instead I am going to modify a stock arm to utilize the unused bolt hole on the motor mount bracket which is located about an inch above both timing belt pulleys.

Here is a different bracket I made that is much stronger against the tensioning load. I have to get a tensioning arm made up yet and plan on it this weekend.
