Can someone identify these pistons, MD129232, that is the number that is on the box that i received with the eclipse, want to know what kind of pistons are these. Thanks
Pretty sure those are stock 4g63t pistons. CAPS says it fits the D22A, D27A, and E39A, which are 1g FWD, AWD, and GVR4 respectively.
Then i don't really need to put them on my engine, unless the stock one on there is bad, thanks for the info

I also got some LASH ADJUSTERS lifters that came with the car, can someone tell me what these do?
edit: Just did some research and daymn it seems really complicated to install these on, unless you know what your doing your going to break it, someone should make a vid, or very good instructions on how to do this!
Not really, you pretty much just drop them into place. You have to take the cams out though to make it a lot easier.

Really? just read a fourm where you have to lube it untill its right, turning the engine for each lifter? http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/article ... fters.html
Something like this should be in the archives! so we don't have to search other sites,

Yeah, on 2nd thought, you should definitely have someone who knows what they're doing install those.

Are they stock lifters or are they adjustable lifters?

Move this to the build thread please? anyway, almost there to starting my swap then again it snowed! we have such weird weathers up here in Alaska, just when everything dries up it snows a bunch again. Pullled the engine apart and found that the turbo has shaft play, sucks, seems i'll have to look for a new turbo. Does anyone know if those fakeass intake supercharger/blower really works? Just wondering though. So I'm more excited about the swap now since i got a daily drive, its a 1996 Toyota Rav4 with only 100,000 miles, got that for 37**, updated pics this weekend i promise!

The fake superchargers on ebay are a waste of time and money. Moved this to the builds section for you.

Ok now for suspension upgrade, Im going use the gst front struts and (trimmed stock?)springs, combination of KYB AGX awd rear struts with "awd stock springs?". I have read the archives 8) SO i don't have to have rear disc brakes for this setup to work right.

No, the rear brakes don't have anything to do with the suspension. The dsm stuff will work fine.

Ok! this weekend went like i wanted it to. Got the motor out of the eclipse found out the turbo has shaft play and the camshafts are scratched!, remember the valve cover has a big crack hole in it, alot of things went into the head, now i need a new one, Should i just get a new head? anyway, i haven't taken out the wire harness yet, i don't know where to cut? the engine harness or does the ends all have plugs, what about the part that goes into the wall into the interior, where do i cut that? One biggest mistake ever, i didn't keep track of the bolts  and didn't label anything!! ow well, lolz, i got you guys to help, ahah, since i have a 90 year harness and engine, i don't need to do anything to the coil pack? It's also the distributor? its different for me because i only have worked with Honda's, yup, im not good with wiring, The motor is sitting in the back outside room, getting the tranny off so i can put it on engine stand and clean it. I will get some pictures, when im not feeling lazy :vom: and have access to a good camera,

You got to remember that the head shares the same oil as the engine. You tried to start the engine after the crack happend, so if I was you, I would do a complete teardown and rebuild. but you may just be able to get away with not doing the head. I'ts a crap shoot.
