That manifold is pure sex! It would look even better with a matching coated turbo.

^Totally agree, but it seems I'm always changing set-ups and therefor use a turbo blanket.

Because we all like detailed pics..

Bro I am in love with that Ralliart wheel and those rims. I'm seriously starting to get that itch again. I ended up selling my 1984 Dodge Ramcharger that I was hoping to restore because I just don't have the time/money/materials/space/tools/you name it to finish it the right way and it was just rusting away so she had to go. But I still have the carbureted 360 that came out of it in the garage, what do you think about a 360 powered RWD Colt? J/K...but I still really want another CSM.

How does it feel when you reach for the turn signal now?

Hot damn, that spacer and wheel really move things back!

I'm going to have to seriously figure out some dimensions and possible ergonimc issues for a wheel when I do mine over, should I go that route.

Shifter is way too low for my liking and causes me wrist pain if I drive the car consequetively for weeks on end. Something about the angles, and my work habits with tools that always never jived with almost all standard shift cars. Time for a "raise".

Ever consider raising your shifter base?

Oh, and man that car is looking good.

I miss that mother effing stalk every time! LOL Will take some getting used to. A non dished wheel would help in this sense though.

The wheel placement is good for me, I'm tall so I like to sit farther back, the shifter never bothered me, no plans to raise it.

I just installed an adjustable harness bar mostly for mock up and test. I have found that the standard 49" harness bar is a tad too short but works. I'm thinking of trying the NRG 50.5" bar, pretty sure it will be perfect. The bars can attach to the factory seat belt bracket mounting locations for a total of 4 points with almost no modification. The locations are very solid and so are the bars. Now I just need to figure out seat brackets and seats :)

Any issues installing the SS brake lines? I will be doing this very shortly with my build, and can't decide on 1g FWD or 1g AWD. I will be swapping in the rear subframe from and AWD car though, so I know it will be a little different. Also, detailed shots and review of the lines? There are a few different brands out there, and I don't wanna skimp on something important like brake lines.

I used Technafit SS lines (8) for a fwd 1g. The fitment was good very happy with them, no issues. If I end up pulling the wheels I'll take pics of the lines. If anything I had a bit of extra slack in the rear, weather the awd ones are shorter or longer idk but I would think the fwd ones would work for you.

Harness bar installed, on the look out for seats and harnesses. I'll be much more motivated to clean and finish the interior once the auto seat belt crap is out.

Not sure what you're looking as far as seats but check out the ones on ebay made by Sickspeed. I'm sure they're made in China but what isn't these days? I'm thinking about the ones with the purple stitching for my 4g coupe.

Car is looking awesome BTW! 8)

Sick speed haha, they are fairly local to me but haven't got anything from them yet, I know it's mostly cheap ricer stuff but some of it is indeed decent. I'm looking for Sparco seats specifically, possibly Corbeau. With a cam lock 4 or 5 point harness. Black seat with red harness or vise versa.

Btw find me some crank spacers yet? :yawinkle:

Refresh my memory on the crank spacers?

Doh! Sorry, I got you mixed up with Coltsfan, but if you happen to run across some window crank spacers, the plastic ring that goes between the crank and door panel, I'm looking for a set. ](*,)

I'll look at my 4g tomorrow to see if they're the same. If they are I can grab you a pair the next time I go to the JY.

Just placed an order for the Corbeau driver seat bracket with double locking slider. $99 add $20 for double slider. http://www.racing-seats-usa.com/racing- ... ckets.html

The steering wheel looks nice, is the adapter for a early generation dsm ? I guess the question would be, can a 1g steering wheel fit on a colt steering column ?
