I'm partial to silver! 8)
Oh, yeah I realised the slippers would grab a little attention, after I posted the pic. Gotta stay warm in the great white North.

Update:

Out with the old, in with the new (soon):

I might take the end tubes from the old VR4 intercooler and have them welded onto the Starion intercooler. The new intercooler ends have seen better days and have been modified but not properly. It will work and was reported to the leak free, so I'm hopefully starting with a good base.

Waiting to put on a long list of parts, but time is what will take for me to sort through it all. Just ordered an SAFC II black face from LILEVO, so we'll get to see what that looks like soon. Purchased some GVR4 front brake lines to use in place of the stock Colt Turbo rubber lines, both are rubber, but these are brand new Mitsu and in the bags!
Now I should source some rear brake lines, and I should be all set for another 10 years of trouble free rubber.

^^^ That takes a lot of the worry list....hehehehe....not everyone is driving around a car as old as ours with good rubber all around the chassis. Sounds like you plan on keeping your CSM for many years to come. :D

Update the top post, and have acquired a nice modified Starion Intercooler in better shape than the one pictured. Lots of piping welded onto it and should work better than the stock VR4 unit you see above too.

Here's the yellow headlight bulbs I though of using to get the yellow look without JDM headlamp assemblies:

http://www.eautoworks.com/product-PIAA-14383.htm
http://www.luminicsbulbs.com/9006_bulbs.php
http://www.luminicsbulbs.com/9005_bulbs.php
http://www.luminicsusa.com/bulbSeries.asp?BulbType=9005

Lots of choices but the 70+ watt JDM yellow models peak my interest even if they would require some beefier wiring and a relay just to make sure they don't smoke that small stock wiring harness of fuses. The one site has wiring harness pigtails, so you could make the factory harness trigger a relay to run the lights off the battery and a fuse.

Any pics of how it looks with the yellow bulbs, Tim?

Glad to see you got rid of that poor excuse for an intercooler too!

No, not as of yet as I just thought of this last night and made the post.
I'm sure the yellow bulbs will tint the whole housing by assocation of area and reflection inside the dual bulb setup we have. I almost forgot about this phenomenon where we don't have a full wall between the high and low beams inside the housing. I may have to rethink this, or all lights whether low or high being chosed for yellow duty, will ultimately affect the final coloring. It might not be all bad, but which lights are normally the JDM yellow, I cannot remember how the bulbs are setup for the inner lighting on the front housings, are they the high beams? If so, then those are the ones that are yellow in JDM land.

Here's the intercooler setup I purchased a couple of months ago, it was made by/for dan's car:

Here is what it will look like installed if I weld in some tabs. I may need a bigger bumper ..... {insert nail biter emoticon here}!!!!
