Looks good, I'm with Trev on this one though, I don't think you needed to move the bottom mounting point that much if you already modified the top, esp if your running the coilovers I see in the background.

So these struts were also 8 inches shorter than stock?

Yeah I had the new Struts on the car and the wheels bottomed out in the wheel wells. This was what I had to do to make them work. I dont think both of these mods will be needed to be done by everyone maybe just one of them. But this is what I had to do. The new Struts were all the way extened also. This will give me the adjustment I need.

Are you using that brake for speed control or dyno help? or both  Ive heard about this in the rock crawling community, but never in racing.
That's just a random picture I googled; I thought it might help give inspiration. As for the applications, I've seen these used on drag cars. Mostly dragsters with huge slicks, or show cars like a tubbed out Wyllis coupe or something.

I personally would replace the trailing arms.

I have mocked up the caliper and all I have to do is "notch" the new strut mount and it should work.

That's good you're able to make it work still! Although you probably could have gotten away with some big front brakes, sense most of the braking comes from the front anyway.

Dive shaft needs to be shifted a little but I designed the mount so I could do that.
