Just test fitted my 24.5x8.7 M&H slicks. They are on 13" Diamond racing wheels. And wow they clear the calipers by a nut hair.

(never ended up running these slicks, they didn't fit over the gvr-4 brake upgrade done later)

Took the car out today to try and get the Synapse to give me more boost, I finally got it around 18-20psi. Threw the new throttle body on and will be back to the tuner next week, link is estimating 340-350whp and that's what I expect to get :snakeman:

On another note I'm not making full boost til 4600rpm, not sure if that's normal or not for a tdo6h, I think the wastegate is to blame or the car is just so light that spool can't really be compared to DSMs..

Also plan on taking a trip to the 1/8th mile track later this month. :toimonster:

Just got off the Dyno..

340whp/311wtq@20psi.

Had some boosting issues that I'm pretty sure are wastegate related, I've given the Synapse the benifit of the doubt time and time again, needless to say that thing is junk and I'm sick messing with it, Tial here I come.

My freind had tons of issues with his synapse wg too, finally switched to a tial. I also had a very flat powerband when i was out of ic, switched to a bigger core and started making more power.i maxed out a evo 8 fmic at 450hp, but put down 396hp at 22psi on a mustang dyno with that core. You would benefit using a better ic for sure.i was ising a evo3 16g when i made 396hp.

Well my core is 3" thick, I would expect it to do ok but I don't have a AIT hooked up so I really don't know. 396 on a E316g at 22psi. is pretty impressive, high compression? race gas?

Stock block on 93oct, now im on a pte 6262..car has made 560hp on 93oct at 26~27psi.
Are you using a ebay core?

Its a custom core my buddy had made for his BMW, don't know much about it.

Made it to the 1/8th mile drags this weekend, on the stock 195/60 tires I managed a best of 9.0@84mph with a best mph of 87.8, not sure if thats good or not lol Didn't run the slicks this time was too nervous to break an axle being 100 miles from home. Also by the time I was done which has about 30-40 passes and my first time ever racing the car the axle was clicking in a strait line, the timing belt was walking and loosing material and it got to the point of only building 17psi by redline lol at least I made it back home :D

1/4mile 13.7@109 w/cams 10psi.

17psi. and still trying to dial in the tune, at least I got the boost to be steady. I'm also running out of 4th gear. :-?

Hit track again last night before it closes for the year. Still on the stockers.

2.2 60'
8.9@86
13.21@117.58 to finish off the year.

12s and 120s will be easy with just a taller tire.

Finally time to start digging into the car again I think.

Ordered a Moroso fused switch panel with a Momentary starter button I will be using to bypass the ignition signal wire.. WILL NEVER HAVE CLICKY NO START AGAIN! Will also help better serve standalone accessories as well and at the same time fill my empty radio slots.

Will also be revising a few things such as the intake location, tranny (swap to F5M33) maybe, radiator, brakes, wheels and interior. Also need to get a crack on the manifold welded up and need to relocate the 90 on the turbo outlet so it can better clear the water drain.

Then will just need to re-tune for the cams and a couple more psi. hoping to make 400whp this year on 92 and be ready for the track when it opens in the spring. My goal is a 125mph trap simply because my fathers Viper ACR is rated at mid 120s traps and he thinks it's literally impossible for my little turd bucket to do that :lol:

Got the switch panel installed with the starter button, RACECAR! I think it's my favorite mod yet, knowing the car will start every time. That clicky shit was driving me nuts for years and the massive alarm system and mess of wires is something I really didn't want to dig into, at least not yet.

Next is fuel filter and GVR4 brakes.

On order:

Fuel lab fuel filter
-6 fittings and ss lines
GVR4 brake rotors
GVR4 calipers
extended wheel studs
