Did you swap out the other lever that bolts on with two bolts? What about the cable bracket? Both need to come from a csm.
Yes on the lever. I had it on the installed tranny, so I swapped it and the cable bracket over. 1-2 is great, the rest are stiff. I am sure it is the lever needing to move up and down. Since it sat outside under a plastic bag since February it has stiffened up.

For 1-2, I setup the drill for where the cable rested. Hopefully I got it right.

That's what I did as well. Had my wife hold the shifter in 1st while I eyeballed where the cable end needed to go on the lever, then drilled the hole. I'm sure it will loosen up in time since its been sitting.

I hope so too. I now realize that I eyballed it while it was in 2nd, not first. But, it still looks to be spot in. Basically, if the cable were to be mounted on the top, it would rest the edge against the stock DSM mount pin

Wish I could find some of my old pics. Seems like mine was closer to the middle if it was mounted on top. But again its been a while.

It loosened up alot after driving around for a bit, but I am having issues with reverse. Not quite enough throw to fully engage.

Well, it's verified, reverse Is toast. So gotta swap the tranny back thursday evening. So much wasted time.

This project has officially ended. The Black colt will be giving up its motor, tranny and any go-fast goodies to the new colt in the house. This shell will soon be available. It is possible it will be a running car if I decide to transfer the 1.5, tranny and harness out of Little-bird into this one so it can be driven away. At a minimum it will have:

Full interior
Tinted Windows
Tach cluster
1g engine Harness
13" steelies.

Is this Rob's old car from Pa? I know he misses it, he might be interested in getting it back.

Didn't really want to bother with that lol but it did only take a minute. Looks like 11/13 of this year.

Messaged Rob and he said he'd love to have it back but no money.

I don't plan on sending it to the jy (though it will need some rust repair as the roof and a rear quarter are bubbling), I will try and get the 1.5 I have in my yellow colt into this one so it can be driven away. Although, I would then sell off the G20 bumper and the 8k tach cluster and the spare ECU unless they would substantially help the selling price. Especially since it has Colt GTT brakes and a spare set of new front rotors/pads with it.
