Mitsu steering wheel
with tilt and telescopic adjustments lol.
The door panels don't match each other and the fabric is falling off. The seats need to be recovered, possibly want to keep the center part of the fabric and put new side pieces in? Will have to talk to the guy who does the work and see what he thinks.
The car has 680cc injectors in it and a larger fuel pump. Not totally sure what this turbo is other than its from Forced Performance. It has no identifiable tags or engravings other than the 40 on this wheel and the a/r.60 on the compressor housing.
The front struts were shot, so I put some KYB ones in with new upper mounts. It badly needed one ball joint and tie rod, so I have a new set on the way. It currently has the stock rotors up front and the larger rear brakes from a gvr4. So I have new front bearings, gvr4 rotors and some calipers on the way for it. Its been a while but I think thats what I had on my awd swapped colt at the end and it seemed to work well.
As mentioned before it did not run. Had no power on any of the sensors and MPI relay were not powering up properly. I jumpered out the relay and put power to the sensors. It still had no spark. So I took the Link G4X ecu from my 4g64 swapped D50 (shares the same ECU connectors still), put it in the car, moved one wire and downloaded a stock configuration into it. We had spark. So with Flying Eagles help we found out what injectors were in it, got it running and started tuning it (this was before I took the wheels off to find the bad tie rods and ball joints haha). Turbo works good, clutch is good, trans seems good, howl in the rear on decel and a bit on acceleration, quiet when cruising. The rear bearings are loose and sound dry, so I have a new set on the way for it too.
So for now I have one ECU that I am swapping between two vehicles, downloading different configs with each time I swap. Going to get some prices on some options this week I think but I am leaning towards leaving the G4X in the Summit and buying a Link Extreme or Furyx for the D50 as I am finding I need more I/O for it for what I want. The D50 is setup for drive by wire, getting an electric water pump, and finding that traction control would be nice to have with the street tires on it.
Anyways, I am happy with the car. Not too sure what my full future plans are with it other than getting the rust patches repaired in the rear fenders before it gets out of control.
