Howdy Troy, You may also want to check out some new zealand sites, as they have a huge import market & a few of the AWD lancers made it over there. Cheers Gap |

Hey troy, I've just recently changed my 4g15 to a 4g61t from a Cyborg. I've taken the front bumper from it which looks like the ordinary GSR one in Aus. Does a Supra FMIC actually fit? It looks like there's no room for me ... unless the aircon radiator goes out. Hey guys! Im from New Zealand. There are quite a number of the 4g61t lancer and marage's floating around in NZ. I've got a fwd lancer hatch (which i havent seen too many of with the turbo engine). The 2 door mirage hatch backs a common, and there are a few of the 4wd mirage sendans around too. One NZ car club is www.nzmmc.co.nz Its mainly a forum... but there are over 350 members there now. Not much info at all about the 4g61t though. Let me know if you come across any good NZ sites about the 1600cc turbo lancer/mirage. Cheers -Jeza |

HI boys I'm also from the south Pacific (New Zealand). I dont have a colt, I'm running a 89' GSR lancer from the CB range. It's a Jap import. AT the moment I'm still working on it, it's running the 4G61t engine with 13PSI boost, 2 1/2" exhaust, K & N air filter with cold air box and lowered 3". It's also full time 4WD, 5speed with 4 wheel disk. I'm thinking of upgrading the intercooler to something front mount, What the best option for a poor student? I was thinking maybe a VR4 item? Ill post some pic's some time for you guys. Any suggestions would be great. By the way this site rocks!!! |

Hiya there fellow Aussies, I dont have a Mitsubishi but my '85 Excel is 4G61T powered: Haltech, huge FMIC, 14B, built bottom end, Tighe cams. Soon as I figure out which relay is keeping the power switched on after I turn the ignition off it gets put on the dyno. Hoping to crack 200kW. RPW here in Perth can do just about anything you want with the 4G61T: cams, BBTB, BB turbos, manifolds, pistons, nitrous, stroker kits etc... check out http://www.rpw.com.au/ |

Yo troy, you say you have a 14b fitted along with a supra front mount and a 3" exh. thats pretty close to what I'm doing with mine if I cant afford the GVR4 h/cut. I allready have a 3" turbo back exh, it helped a bit but the car still goes fairly flat above 5500 rpm, did you find the 14b fixed this for you? whats the lag like? I was considering a 13b myself. Cheers Russ |
