Im looking around at intercoolers now as the stock 89 MC turbo hotbox pipe wont suffice for very long. This job is getting done correctly the first time, so Im not gonna be bastardizing some other OEM intercooler in. Im looking at a couple different ones that are top-bottom flow, but if anyone has any comments on fit/finish/ease of pipe fabrication of a side-side flow, I would love to hear from you (and a few pics would be cool too!)

the two Im looking at are:
Spearco 221

griffin core w/spearco tanks:

I saw pics a while ago of a white 89 turbo w/GVR4 wheels on it that had the same core style as the above listed ones, anybody know where those pics are?
Any comments greatly appreciated!!

Yes, this is true

I would not object to you sending me a "real" gvr4 IC :) Granted I would be lucky if I can even afford shipping.

Have you seen this site yet?

Check out the 2.0L w/20g link and there's a basic schematic for a CSM FMIC (whew, lots of acronyms there!). Near as I can tell it's a Spearco core 2-120. Nice setup though!

They go for between $250 and $350 NZD ($156-220 USD)

Check out the forums at www.nzmmc.co.nz Theres usually one or two for sale on there, and a lot of genuine lancer evo i/c's aswell. Some people might not want to bother with shipping overseas thats all.
