I swapped a km210 from an early 1g t/e/l. I'm using the 1.5 select/control levers/cables. Problem:

When I upshift/downshift to 2nd and release the clutch pedal It pops out (most of the time). It sometimes catches 2nd gear when I upshift, and when It does, it won't pop out. It sometimes grinds while shifting and sometimes it doesn't. I have the adj. shift cables but still the same. All the other gears shift fine. The tranny shifted fine before this car. I'm having a hard time trying to figure out whether the problem is w/ the tranny control system or an internal issue. It sux going from 1st to 3rd. :(

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanx

the throw is not long enough. To see what I mean, pop ur hood and have a buddie sift while you watch the cables move the arms, then taek the cables off and shift the arms with ur hands, you will see how much farther you have to go to get it all the way into gear
