I have a friend who has a couple of trashed turbo DSMs that he just got ahold of.

What are a list of good parts to get off of these cars? I'll start with the stuff that I can remember off the top of my head.

Turbo Manual Exhaust Cam
Turbo Manual Intake Cam
Nonturbo Fuel Pressure Regulator
14B turbo
Exhaust manifold
o2 housing
Side Mount Intercooler
three port Throttle body
450cc Injectors
Mas
'90 ECU

What else can be used? After we have a good list, I'll move this to the 'information section'.

Do you guys need anything?

Anything in the engine bay might be useful parts. The suspension or brakes also might be useful.

I have a complete harness from a 90 AWD.
I'd say first $100 takes it.

hey Jason, few things I'm not following.

"Turbo Manual Exhaust Cam"
thats fine.

"Turbo Manual Intake Cam"
I thought the 4G61 intake cam, & 4G63 Exst cam was the best setup?

"Nonturbo Fuel Pressure Regulator"
why not the FPR from a DSMT-man.? or are they the same?

I can pick apart a 90 DOHC non-turbo Eclipse. is the ECU harness good for people doing the 2.0T swap on a 1.5?
can the MAS be used? & the T/B size looks just like the turbo T/B. can they be used too? what else can be used? thanks.

I don't think that the intake cam really matters on the 4g61. It doesn't help much but it doesn't hurt either.

The NT FPR's are a higher pressure then the Turbo FPR's.

Ok why the NT FPR is because it runs higher rail pressure then the turbo.

And can you use a NT harnis for a swap, Yes and no, It would have to be modified. You would need a plug for a turbo MAS and then you have to add two wires that go back to the ECU. If it is all you have and don't want to pay $100 for a harness it is the way to go.
