will a tranny from a 1.5 fit a 1.6

Sure it will, but why? It would probably bolt up to a 3000GT engine as well. Unless you don't have much money, get a KM-210. You're going to need a 1.6L NT flywheel if you plan on using the 1.5L tranny because the 4G61/4G63 flywheel won't even fit inside of it. You also won't be able to use any turbo clutches. You might have to have something made, or have a clutch that has asignificantly smaller friction surface.
