Click me

Control F once you are on the screen and type in " 1.6 ". Many options will show up.

If you download ASA Europe, you can find all the 1.6L ECU's that they used, in normally aspirated form (they did not get turbo 1.6L motors, instead they got high compression 10+:1 CR GTi 1.8L versions).

Any 1.6L NA ECU (Summit/Mirage) including the 92-94.5 Elantra ECU's will work; also the Lantra but each market got different versions, make sure the harness plugs at the ECU are the same shape and you should be good. Avoid the 1995+ Hyundai ECU's as they switched away from the 1990/94 DSM style ECU plugs and components.

You have to be careful and search Hyundai online catalogs because that ECU could be for the 1.6L or the 1.8L, you need to confirm that. They had two motor choices in the J1 Elantra in certain years for North America. Be sure the ECU you use is listed as > 1990 and < or = 1994.5

Currently uses Hyndai (kefico) but we put 4G63 aspirated (MD 166255) and the car did not oscillate in the minimum engine and did not turn off when the a / c was lit

I imagine that I could not use a 4G63 ECU aspirated because the car would cost me more fuel, or would it?

Definitely try and use any 1990 style 4G63 ECU. If you get 1991-1994 types they changed the Idle Speed Controller pins and Pins 6, and 14 which relate to the MAF (Mass Airflow Sensor). Pin 6 and 14 get swapped.

Your motor when running stoich 14.7:1 AFR will likely use the same fuel with either ECU, so match 2.0L ECU and maps to 2.0L displacement motor.

When changing between 90 and 91-94, the connectors changed in the way they are located and attached. If you already have the motor wired properly (comparing the ECU pinouts I have located in the Manuals thread) for your ECU then an identical generation ECU for a 2.0L will swap in with zero changes.

Only ECU the 1990, any page where they sell that ECU specifically?

But in EBAY only 1991 - 1994

Wait, I think I got lost in the translation of what you are saying.

Are you using a 1.6L or 2.0L motor ?

If you are using a 1.6L motor with a 2.0L ECU, it can work but you have to match the injectors, MAF and fuel pressure - IE you need to use the matching injector type and size, and the MAF sensor has to be what the ECU wants to see.

Otherwise you need to search Australia (See FB for CSM forums) for 1.6L NA ECU's, as they will match your injector sizing and MAF sensor input .... even then you may need to change your MAF, but they can be had cheaply online for knockoff units or founds easy enough from Australia.

Would you recommend some website to buy in Australia?
