I've searched a little while and can't find what I'm looking for. I'd like to know if a 4g61 front cover/oil pump housing is compatible with the 4g63. It's seems like it makes life easier by taking the work out of doing some of the common modifications of 4g63 front covers.

They are identical parts, the 4g61 cover has the balance shaft eliminator covers already installed. Eat peasy.

Thanks for nailing it down for me. I just wanted to make sure before I did this.

I can verify this personally, I recently took the front cover off the blown 1.6 in my car and swapped it on to my 2.0 thats going in, perfect fit.

I knew it would fit physically. I was more concerned if the oil passages, gasket and block lined up the same. The BS delete was another thing I wanted to know about. Last thing I want is to install this thing and have oil passages blocked or oil leaking from the BS area. Looks like it's well known that it's a direct fit-now I know. Thanks again for the input
