Out of everyone here who's done a 4g63 swap nobody can confirm if they used the dsm or csm mpi? |

If it plugs in and works then don't worry about it. They aren't expensive. Find a dsm one just in case. Look up any of the wiring diagrams on my site. Find the MPI relay page. Print out both side by side. Compare. |

Thank you. Well hopefully I'll be doing a first start today I'm trying to get this done before the rain hits (a week or less). That's why I'm trying to sort out all my unforeseen issues before I get to them. As of right now the stock turbo csm mpi relay, power transistor, coil and resistor pack are being used. |

Mine is running stock relay. 91+ motor . All I changed over was the coil and power transistor for a 90. The TB was whatever I had in my parts bin. I threw in an old used 14b. Cranked it over and hoped for the best! I had no motor in my colt when I got it and I had to sort out the hacked wiring harness in the engine bay. I had no idea what connector did what. In the end. It all works out. One piece at a time. |
