akubullet, could you please put a location in your profile. Part of the rules at signup.

7 bolt motor and matching transmission setup?

What code is on the top of your bell housing?

Pic of the front of the block where the mounts attach? Pic of the damaged holes at for the transmission mounts and frame area?

I can't see the bottom two pics. I looked at the picture links code for your last two pictures and they don't contain links to pictures; IE .jpg .gif etc

You mean the hole in the transmission for the mount? Drill/tap to the next largest size.

akubullet, your project looks sound once you get that radiator support fixed. Truly sad to see it broken that badly.

You can get new radiator support parts from the US, but their dollar is strong right now, and shipping is expensive.

I don't suggest a repair of the original part, as you likely need to straighten the frame rails or at least have them checked for.

Does the hood close and maintain a few MM's gap on both sides of the hood to the fenders? If this gap is larger on one side and the hood is aligned (also properly closes on the hood latch!), then your rails may be okay. I would have the rails checked and pulled straight before putting any rad support back in. Please consider this! Otherwise you will weld in new frame rails with a new radiator support and have a bent/tweaked front end.

I can see that if you also knew some people who are good at welding, you could design your own front radiator support, but it's better to buy the correct part. There is the option to get one from a dismantler/parts company in Malaysia. There are companies all over in Malaysia that part out GVR4's and likely C50 style cars if they can find them.

Keep posting, as we want to see this car transform and get road worthy.
