I have been beating my head on a rock trying to figure out my starter issue i have tested power its fine. i have checked and rechecked grounds i have made certain to get a signal from the black and yellow trigger wire. I am out of ideas and options i have tried 2 different starters all are good. i have tried 2 different good batteries. I switched mpi relays. The only symtoms i have is that the mpi relay clicks when i turn the key. Is there a fuse or a relay that i have overlooked or that i need to try changing next? its just odd that i have power the trigger wire and grond hooked up with no luck! the ground was grounded to the lower starter bolt i have even tried grounding elsewhere with no luck.

Check the ignition switch. Pound on the column from underneath while turning the key. Sometimes they get weird. Should have thick ground from starter to chassis and engine block to chassis.

Swap car, original turbo car or what? Also you say the black/yellow is getting power when you turn the key? If not there should be a big fuse somewhere under the hood.

If the trigger wire at the starter is getting 12v then there is a problem with the starter or grounding. At a minimum there needs to be a thick ground wire from one of the starter bolts to the chassis.
