I swapped in some 450's and 1g maf on my 61t....motor is shaking and running rough now. Can I pinpoint if it's the maf or the injectors, or do I take a chance on buying someone else's used stuff all over again?

What ECU are you using? Unplug each injector and see if the roughness gets worse or stays the same. Pinpoint which cylinder it may be coming from. Swap that injector to a different cylinder and see if it follows. If it's the MAF you can try unplugging it and see if it runs any better. Put your old injectors back in and see what happens, or put the old MAF back on and see what happens.

What he said. ^^

I bet one of the injectors is stuck/dead. Ohm them out, and see if they are within range.

4g61t ecu, Tony, and thank you for the suggestions....I am so glad that I didn't need to use them!!! :^P
You guys won't believe it. I went into the shop to start diagnosing, decided to start up the car before I even turned a wrench. Well, the motor started up and was running smooth now.

Could I have caused an air lock in the system after the install? I noticed a sludge/rust build up where the injector o-ring lands in the rail, so I went to town with fine grit sandpaper and later solvents to completely clean out the rail. I put it back together, then cranked the motor with the ECI fuse pulled, to prime the rail and lines...then started the motor after putting the fuse back in, which it ran like crap. It was spitting fluid out the tailpipe and puffing whitish smoke, a bit scary!

I can really hear the turbo spooling now for some reason. Motor sounds pretty happy at 17psi.

On the contrary....as long as you match 450cc injectors with a 1g maf, there is not an issue with using the stock (61t) ecu.

I ran 660cc injectors and a hacked 1g MAF with the 61t ECU. Worked great, got 33mpg. Had to tune out the difference a bit with an S'AFC and a wideband, but no biggie

No biggie, yes. As you may be aware though, I'm turning into an old fart more so every day and losing interest in "fussing" with stuff to make things work. Hahaha!

I'm considering using those 560cc evo injectors and a 2g maf, as a next step. Already purchased the 2g maf from 89Mirageman. Trying to stick with what works, and couple those items with a 16g should be sufficient for 220hp easily. I don't think my car is much over 160hp, so this would be nice bump. I really don't want to hack into this car with mods, in case I decide to resell it someday.

Sometimes injectors get "sticky". They need to be ran hard or soak for a little while to free up,

That would make sense to me.

I swapped injectors in my car and it was literally running on just one cylinder at first until I slowly revved it a couple times then they all started firing. My thought was the fuel rail got airbound too. I guess they could have been stuck to I guess.
