im kinda lost here, i have no tuning tools whatsoever, no wideband, i have bo clue whats going on here.
any suggestions would be of some use to me.
first off this is a 4g63t in a 1980 colt. it runs very well from idle to 1/8 throttle. but anything over 1/8 throttle makes no difference. it is making about 100 horsepower.
i mean, the ecu says fuel pump, it has a walbro 190 in the tank. it could very well be starved for fuel though, maybe the output hose is leaking or something like that, maybe the fuel filter is plugged, who knows

im wondering how the hell the ecu could even detect that?

i also mean to ask if anybodys ever experienced lack of fuel supply before, and if it acts like this. just no power, timing pulled.

first off.. putting a 63 into a 80 car.. without any way to tune/view logs.. specially with no wideband..not a good idea.. you really need to monitor the engine to determine what is going on with it..

not sure why it would be a FP code. but if u had a wideband u could see if its lean or rich.

well i feel stupid for even asking such an obvious question. its telling me fuel pump, so its the fuel pump.
i lied i realized i had a fuel pressure guage im my hoard so i hooked it up (sketchily).
it must be a n/t fpr cause its 45 psi with the vacuum disconnected. so its obviously running rich to start, applied pressure yup it goes up 55 with 10 psi on my vacuum pump
took her for a rip and it goes down instead of up haha. as the boost rises it just goes down and down. under 30 psi fuel pressure at 10 psi boost! it should be 55 psi with this fpr!
so i know what the problem is, now just to fix it...
