So i tried searching this before posting, but the only topic that comes up is a question that ctwomly poses that resembles mine. He has had no reply since 2012. I would like to know if i can order 63t axle boots for my 61t axles (short axle setup). I have noticed seepage from my boots and would like to replace them while i have them out of the trans. I tried calling Raxles and they told me they no longer carry the 61t axle boots.

That does help, just doesn't answer the question. Anyhow, after reading your post i'm pretty sure i should order 3 boots #8161771 and 1 boot #8162942, correct? Thanks for the information.

I don't know if it worked for him but I tore a boot awhile back and used an awd dsm (63t) axle boot as a replacement on my short/equal length axles. Huge paint to get it on but it worked.
