Is the 1ga rear mount as same as the '61t? Reason I'm asking is mine is so chewed up that I'm not sure if the centre of it is supposed to be slightly offset to the bottom(where the bolt goes through)? I want to fill it with windshield urathane again but thot i'd start with a fairly decent one first.

Completely different roll stop. The 92-95 Elantra one will work or any 3g csm though, doesn't have to be turbo. I have a few here, $10 + shipping for one.

I can ship to either address but NY will be a lot cheaper for sure.

Actually there are quite a few differences in the elantra parts vs the Mitsubishi ones. It seems in most cases the Hyundai parts are built a little better from what I've seen.

true! most of the dsm guys are scared to use hyundai stuff over their mitsu 4g63s like sensors, alternators, etc. I guess most of them don't know about how they did pretty good quality on all the copies they made from mitsubishi, I would say even better than mitsubishi...

I first noticed this when I tried to swap an elantra clutch/brake pedal into my last Colt because I couldn't locate the needed csm parts at the time. The bar on the brake pedal was about 1.5" longer so it had to be modded to work but all of it was built so much beefier. The smooth black valve covers are the same way. You hardly ever see those crack or the threads stripped like you do with the weaker Mitsu ones.
