Hey All, New Mirage Cyborg owner here. Picked one up for $400.00 at a wreckers without wheels & seats. Hoping to restore it to its former glory. Now I'm not too sure on what specs/trims these all came in but its a 4G61 N/A with Auto 4WD Whats the differences between the N/A & Turbo motors? I have access to a 4G63 manifold & td04 turbo relatively cheaply, is it plug & play? Any help would be much appreciated. |

The non-turbo engines have higher compression, no oil squirters, different cams, and no knock sensor. You could easily add the turbo and manifold, but you would need to either find a turbo oil pan, or modify the existing oil pan to take an oil return line. The manifold itself will bolt on to the 4G61 head.
Any help would be much appreciated. |

What about turbo oil feed & both water lines? Are there points on the N/A motor for these?

I suppose you would need the water pipe from a turbo vehicle, the one that runs behind the turbo from the lower radiator hose to the water pump. The oil feed comes off the side of the head from the factory, but it's best to route it from the oil filter housing instead and use a SS braided hose.
