Might take more than a 25shot. It istight. I am setting up a 80mm dsm this year on a dry shot. Moving him away from a wet shot. Plenty of info on this on the dsmlink forums.

Ive had a few nitrous v8 cars lt1's and ls1's never had to use nitrous on a 4 banger turbo lol. Im not even quite sure how to do it? Im assumeing just a single dry nossle right before the throttle body with like a 25 shot and just tap the button to get over the hump of the converter and into boost. Then Should be able to launch with a few psi
Yeah, you're gonna want at least a 50 shot

It's all in the trans, plus the 4g61 is NOT a torquey engine at all.

63 swap would be cool but this car is running good now. Got all the boost leaks fixed and a bigger air cleaner and she spins all the way threw half of 3rd gear now lol Time for some slicks. Gave the old girl a polish and she looks alot better!

Its like the twin to My Car. Can I just swap a FWD Auto trans from a dsm in this this thing? Might as well get a nice stall for it and keep it and play with it.

I seriously doubt that trans is a straight up swap, or if it would even work without some sort of modification. You could always spend the couple extra dollars for a 4g63t block with that trans and have boatloads of fun. What is holding you back from dropping the 4g63t in it?

All of the 4g trans *should* bolt up, the only question then is what flexplate to use.

I think every e-85 mitsubishi in colorado has taken a picture at that kum and go  I know Im chiming in late, but its no suprise that the 61 cant spool without help at that altitude. Off boost, its more like a dinky 1.3L. How is the spray working out?

Thing is the 4G61T is an extremely low compression engine with low cc 1.6l that comes stock with a 11b, so it is going to be extremely inefficient at low rpm with the 16g even with a 14b boost around 1100 rpm!! explore raising your compression via head work but be sure to use all 4g63t ecu, injectors, fuel pump, fuel rail, fpr , intake and tb , exhaust mani and maf!

I have a 10:1 compression 1.6L with s16g at sealevel (manual tranny though) and it still doesn't spool anything close to what a 2.0L does. Full boost close to 4000rpm. It's tuned pretty well too, 311whp on E85.
