I have an 89 colt that has no exhaust on it. I was wondering which downpipe bolts up (if any) to a 4g63 swapped colt.

Depends on the transmission and o2 housing. Keep in mind that there are no off-the-shelf downpipes for use with Colt/mirages that have been swapped, you simply make use of the corresponding DSM component.

I believe a 2g fwd downpipe is what you need, the 2g awd DP will work also but the fwd clears a little better.

I'm using a 3" 1G AWD downpipe, but the FWD would fit better.

Thanks guys. I'll get a FWD downpipe and modify it accordingly.

2g fwd downpipe: If you want to tuck the exhaust into the driveshaft tunnel, use this one as it puts the outlet right into the tunnel. Doesn't need to be modified and one of the exhaust hangers will pop into a stock exhaust hanger.

2g awd dp: Use this one if you plan on doing an awd car as it doesn't have as much of a kink which puts the exhaust off to the side of the tunnel.

What about from the down pipe back? Mines a custom job but does anyone have and easier suggestions? Like 1g FWD or 2G FWD rear sections? Trying to get a new exhaust since this welding on mine is terrible and only 2.5"

nope only the 2g fwd downpipe is a fit.. from there back it has to all be custom..whether u have a shop make it from scratch.. or u have a premade kit cut to fit. personally I would have a shop make it to how u want.. will cost about the same and exit where u want it to.

I did a Y pipe, one end leads to an electric cutout, the other leads through a long glasspack then a turndown before the axle.
