just got a question re boost gauge install.
i have a 4g61t n was just wondering which line top use for boost gauge.
has anyone got a pic ?

The gold/silver hat (FPR) at the cam gear side of the fuel rail, it has a rubber line going to it.

it has 2 lines.. the small line is the vacume line you tap into for the boost gauge.. the larger line is the fuel return line.. do not tap into that one lol..

No problem!

Remember, use the small vacuum hose. If you pull the hose off and fuel comes out, you have the wrong hose!

lol yeah thanks ill make sure not to lose to much fuel...
btw whilst were at gauge installs, im about to install an oil pressure gauge to. do i just remove the original sensor and put the new one on? or do i need to T Piece it?
and just in case which one was it is it under engine right hand side under the cam gear?

When installing oil pressure gauges I prefer to use one of the numerous ports found on the head. There are multiple machining access holes on the head that are blocked up with allen-headed plugs. Pull out the plug, thread in a matching metric adapter and install the gauge hose.
