So my single piston caliper off a dsm is too small for the rotor. Do I need to get two piston calipers?

If you are running GVR4/3000GT SL rotors, then yes.

They are dsm rotors. Expo knuckles, dsm rotors, calipers, hubs and bearings.

do the years affect the rotor diameter?

If the rotors are off an AWD 93 and up DSM, then they would need the larger rotor, as they all used the twin-pots. Twin-pots were not an option on the 90-92 DSM's (outside of the GVR4, which is not a DSM but is often grouped with them).

300gt SL/Stealth's and Diamante's have them too.

Awesome! That increases my chances of finding some! All years?

91-96 for the 3000GT SL/Stealth (If you find a TT model, snag the brakes. They may not work, but are 4-pot and worth much more than you will pay at a jy.

91-96 Diamante for sure, nor sure about the newer 2g models.

97+ Diamante calipers won"t work FYI, the bolt spacing is slightly bigger. I have a super nice pair of stealth calipers if you can't find any locally. $65 shipped.

So are the 3000gt and diamante calipers both two pistons with brackets? Or just the 1993 eclipse awd....

The early model diamante or na stealth/3000gt's are the ones you want. They all come with the twin piston calipers. Another way to tell is that if they have the banjo bolts they won't fit, if they have the screw in style brake lines they will. I have since sold the one I had but you can either measure the distance on your csm or any dsm at the j/y for reference.

What knuckle and rotors are you running though? The same as me?

I need to double check the rotors I am running. I bought them last summer....
