first pic u can see where I had to grind a little bit off the back side of the plug for the fitting to screw on..which is why I said to grind it flat then drill the hole a bit lower/away from the plug..

2nd pic I used that 2"diam piece of pipe and just layed it flat and hit it with the hammer.. the metal is so thin it formed real easy.. it was flat and u can see it has a slight bump now..

3rd pic u can see how close it is to clearing without the denting... now remember this is on my expo van.. I am using 120 degree fittings so they point down... on a csm u would need to check the clearance and determine if 120 or 90*s will fit best.. also I cant remember if they have a removable cover or not... if no then u could measure edge of tank to center of pump hanger....then measure it on the car while tank is out and just hammer from underside up in that size area to make them clear..

hope this helps.

Oh ok yeah I don't have the cover I will need to drop the tank. I have both 90 and 120 fittings I'll just have to wait and see about clearance when I get in there. Thank you though for the photos

another thing I just thought of.. if there studs coming off the car and nuts hold the tank up.. see how much clearance u have and add (with help from a friend or 2 or 3 lol) and put washers up then the tank.. that will lower it a hair and might help with the clearance..
