Does anyone have any specs or have the degrees to tune them in? I've search the net but I havent found any solid answer.

I will get it dyno but in the mean time something to work with.

Thanks

It's gonna depend on more than just the cam selection. What is your set-up and what fuel are you using?

What are you using to tune?

Decking your head will also effect where they need to be. I suggest indexing them in then changing them a degree at a time seeing what kind of effects it has on the dyno.

My apologies, I assumed you meant how many degrees of advanced ignition timing you should be running with BC 280s, not what your static timing should be.

Would anyone know if soild lifters are worth the swap over stock lifters for 280 cams?

I've already got a new set but I've been reading bout changing to soild lifters for high revs though i'm planning to rev it to say 8.5k MAX if it does

Solid lifters are really only needed for 10k rpm. I had a set and decided I didn't need them, went with a set of new revised lifters. My limiter is set to 8.5k, never had a problem. It's more of a valve spring problem, you do need aftermarket springs/retainers if you want to constantly rev to 8.5 or above.
