What's the name of the part that has the arm that the auto timing tensioner plunger rides on? And is there a place to buys these instead of the dealer?
Mine has a divot worn in it.

It also may be possible that the tensioner arm has the divot machined in there on purpose to help stabilize the rod. Something to look into before spending the $$

Edit: it's common to wear and should be replaced. Time to check mine :P

Arm contact area should be smooth. Divot means accelerated wear. Replace.
