Post subject:  Aircon condensor
Has anyone done an aftemarket or modded an air con condenser to make it smaller? Due to lack of room for stock? or what works?

Im aware that the smaller you got less cold.

It is not just less cold from the system as you feel it coming off the evaporator, but the condensor is what keeps the pressures in the system from skyrocketting. When you put a piece of cardboard in front of the area the fan draws air across, with a gauge attached to the system, you can see the kPA skyrocket. Same goes true for a fan that does not come on, or not enough road speed when the fan is off (broken). You can seriously tax the system when this happens and can run the risk of grenading the compressor at worst, or at best blowing out the max pressure plug; neither of which you want to happen.

Find a work around if possible, because I assume you want to mount a larger turbo or something similar?

Well atm I don't have aircon at all period. I removed it all but summer here is pretty bad from what I remember now even tho its just spring.

I was just curious - Not just bigger turbo yet but my manifold wastegate sits out further out. I had to remove the stock radiator and go to a honda one.

Tho without the condenser I can fit all my cooling components in that spot 8)
