Ok so a couple of weeks ago I purchased some "turbo mounts"(three roll stops and two brackets) and I believe out of the five mounts only one is actually a c53a turbo mount. The two roll stops he must of thought were the front and rear are totally wrong and they have a bracket Im guessing goes to one of them that does not look right and is broke at a mounting point anyway. :-? The trans roll stop that bolts to the frame has the mounting points spaced out too far on the firewall side(no biggy I can just use the one in the car), I believe this maybe a 1g dsm trans rollstop. The trans bracket he included is the only mount that I cant tell whether or not is right, but by judging by the trans roll stop I think it too is a 1g part.

Does any one have a pic of the c53a trans bracket handy? Im not to concerned about the the front and rear roll stops because if they were right I dont have any use for them anymore anyway. I havent contacted the seller as of yet because I need to know what exactly he sent me before I can do anything about this situation. I only really NEED the trans bracket and probably gonna send the rest back and ask for a partial refund. I'll try and upload the mount pics friday.

any help is greatly appreciated, Joey

DSM transmission mounts will have 22-H (awd) or 210H (fwd turbo) on them. Crunchymilk has a pic of an original 89 turbo mirage/colt trans mount in his FS thread that you can compare to. Toss up pics of anything that you have in question and I will do my best to help.

Just checked the pic, the trans bracket looks exactly the same(no numbers on it). It has what I think is a cruise support ear on it too, except it dont have a rolled edge on the firewall side of the top part of the bracket. I think this is because it may be a part purchased from the dealer, it's gold and nice and shiny at least. As for the other mounts they are useless. Although I could just cut the rollstops for my awd mounts?

The trans mount with the elevated mount/post with a hole for a 10mm head type bolt is the ear used for the stock air canister to locate to, the other two mounts are on the frame side near the battery. Cruise is mounted on the ears of the RF shock tower, and one hole with nut welded in place on the RF tower a little lower down IIRC.

Not the best angles for comparison, but here are mine that I recently installed (pic before cleaning).

Yea I think I have the right trans bracket, but my roll stop is what I believe to be a dsm unit. I was talking about the 10mm bolt hole on the firewall side of the bracket. No need to scramble for a chassis/rollstop mount because they are the same between the 1.5's and the 1.6's right.

The gold one looks right, the others look like dsm mounts and I have no idea on the odd looking one.

I am with Chris on this one.
Only the gold mount looks correct.

You know, there is a guy on here that makes these mounts, he does a very good job and doesn't charge a ton. He also makes sure you get the correct mounts and are not left scratching your head wondering where this one goes or what it even came from.

Yea you're right, but I really only needed the trans mount because I have a timing mount and are making the front and rear roll stops to clear the transfer case. I'll keep you in mind if I ever decide to swap my summit too.
