problem. Anyone know why theres no power too the dimmer switch for the display gauges and the gauge lights dont work along with the heater display lights. Also how can i fix this? I looked for fuses everywhere, especially the fuse that said gauges but it's fine. CharleyTurbo, Thanks guys. Kinda like these lights on specially driving at night. I already switched out entire dash gauge so that's not going to work ok. CharleyTurbo.

Is the dimmer switch plugged in? Are the wires to the switch cut?

Sounds like the bullet connectors directly behind the rotory dimmer switch have been unhooked. Ive left these unhooked before when I switched out my new cluster also. Easy fix by pulling the small pocket at your left knee and then reaching behind the switch to see if they are hooked up.

The car is a 89 turbo mirage. The little round mail to female plugs are in and tightly together behind the dimmer switch. As far as the (Easy fix by pulling the small pocket at your left knee and then reaching behind the switch to see if they are hooked up. I believe those are the same thing were all talking about here. They are plugged in fine behind the dimmer switch. But we checked the wires coming from these and there is no power going to them. Now what to check and fix please? Thanks, Charlieyturbo.

(Update).............Thanks BigLady and Bosco. I had tried connecting these wires before but in the daytime so i couldnt see the brightness at all. You two made me think it could only be this so i just went out and connected dimmer this time i pushed them deeper and now it's good, thanks alot. Anyways big lady was first but you both were great and i like that. I will send both you guys $10 bucks each threw paypal tommorow just send me Email or phone number they ask for. I was going to send it now but i wasnt sure youre guy's full email or if this screename would work or not. Just pm me or put it here and i promise i will send each of you $the money. Thanks again. Now only if my check engine light was so easy to figure out. HaHa. Been five years now, changed soooo many things...CharleyTurbo.

He's getting me a steering rack and a the passenger side rear inner light sockets as they have partially melted on my car. The lights never seem to ever work correctly. I need the captive rotors from a non gt car as mine are majorly pitted and too thin to turn them on a lathe. But want to just buy the expo/gvr4 knuckle set, just dont have the 100 plus shipping. I havent worked full time in about 2 years and have a small stun gun business on the side. Enough to pay my gas and insurance only. Nothing major.

Thanks for the paypal, as it will help me out more than you know.

As far as the sockets go, the contacts that supply juice to the bulb itself are melted. Have gotten worse over the years prob due to resitance. The cars plug and wiring is fine, but on the socket side, they are toast.

so the sockets...are they like big/bulky? or are they small and can be removed and replaced? my summit has big plates with like 4 bulb sockets to put bulbs in and as far as i know the whole board needs to be replaced. if you only need the tiny socket to put a bulb into or if you could post a pic of what you are looking for i may be able to help on a trip to the yard i could look for you.

is it for your lil red car?

get a pic of what you need and i'll c whats up. since you are local to me i could probably just meet up and give them to u for cheap or free depending on how hard they are to get.

pm me or just post a pic and we can go from there if you are interested.

If you really want to give $10 away, donate it to the site. Just contact an administrator and see if they would like a donation for site maintenance or whatever.
