I have a s16g on the car now and was thinking of going to a 20g or similar. However, I have a ball bearing 60-1/td06H just sitting in my garage. I ran it on a 2.0L Talon for a while and liked it. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with big turbos on the little 1.6L though. I wonder if its just too big for street use. I don't want the boost threshold to be up at 6k or anything. |

I rode in a Colt with a 60-1 mated to the 1.6L, it had a LOT of lag. The car was slower than a stock DX Civic until about 4700-5000ish rpm when the boost finally kicked in. Don't get me wrong, it was one of the biggest power surges I have ever felt, but it just came in too late for me. I think the car made over 350hp, but don't quote me on that, its been about 5 years since I have hung out with the guy. |

my 4g61t using hks gt2535 but mod with larger compressor fin from garrett gt2876r. Its great.no lag. Seems faster spool than my previous td05 big 16g from evo3. But im using 86mm piston |

I have a Hanh super 20g on my 61t, I love it. It's been a while since I've done the math but I believe the TD06H 20g just barely fits into the compressor map to be able to run efficiently on a 1.6L. http://www.lovehorsepower.com/joomla/in ... &Itemid=88 |

I run a GT42ish turbo on my 1.6L. I love it. Yes it is laggy, but that is what I prefer. Big top end power. |

Are you running a divided manifold

It will be an on-off switch. You will literally have NOTHING before 5k, then- BAM. The dyno chart will look like a 1500whp 3.0L Supra. But if you want to make the power-you have to go BIG. How it acts is really going to depend on the turbine wheel, since the housing is already the Suck. Is is a tD06? Stage 3, stage 5, Ptrim, T350? |

Open manifold, divided turbine. |

Wouldn't it be beneficial to have them match.

Sure, if your paying for it to. We run multiple cars "mismatched", and all perform very well. |

Doesnt dark performance make a sutible t4 divided manifold for 400$ only. That is what someone local is running on his hx52 car and it seemed to perform really well.

Again, are you paying for it? Still does not match the reliability of my $100 rev-hard manifold. Not to mention the rev-hard actually flows quite well. That and the next tubular manifold I own, I will be making it. |

Wouldn't it be beneficial to have them match.Divided snail to big hole will work just fine, just dont go the other way or effeciency tanks. Should knife edge the dividers either way on intake and exhaust.
