so I finally got off my ass and did a compression check on my car, what do you know, hardly any compression! So im gonna put new rings in her and head gasket this month. Where and what brand rings should I get?

Im happy thats the problem, so now ill fix and be ready next season for sub 10 sec passes and hopefully run a couple 9's before the motor goes and I upgrade....

I don't know of any companies that make high-performance rings for the 4g61t's. I would think you'd be stuck with stock shit. I could be wrong though.

You might also see if there are any Japanese companies that will ship them here. Just because Mitsu USA doesn't have them, doesn't mean that Mitsubishi doesn't have any more. I had to get my passenger side window regulator from Japan. Anyone have a part number for OEM 4G61T rings?

If we had specs from a reputable catalogue that would help too, for comparison sake.
