There is 12. 6 large and 6 small fins. If you can't see them in the pictures YOU posted, then there is an issue with your eyesight. Clearly 12 TOTAL fins there.

Evo3 should be twin scroll, yes? 12 blades in that case?

14b on my 4g61t was great, did ride in an Evo3 4g61t setup and it came on hard and fast once spooled, but it depends upon you driving style and transmission to where you have gearing for all this. The KM210 is good at keeping the RPM's quite high and this can help in the city, and with AutoCross events.

the evo 7-9 16g are twin scroll on the exhaust side

The HTA68 is awesome. It's very expensive, but awesome.

It will spool the same as a normal 16g, but have way more potential for power. To use the potential to its fullest, you would want to run a lot of boost. When I say a lot of boost, I mean over 30psi.

I agree on the EVO III 16G, I've ran the 11b, 14b and EVO III 16G on my old 61T setup, Stock 61T turbo was ok, not enough kick, the 14b was better, still fast spooling, but the EVO III 16G is where it is at. It was a little laggy compared to the 1st 2, but when it came on, it came on strong. I will be getting another for my new build I'm in the process of. I dynoed around 198WHP around 5 years ago on the EVO III with around 12-14psi, It was around 202 torque. Keep in mind all I had for upgrades were 1G MAF, 450cc injectors, 1G TB, Stock 2G downpipe and a front mount using an SAFC on 91 octane and no clue about tuning. This time around I'm going with DSM Link, same as I run on my 2G talon, Can't wait to see what I can get out of that little 61T, knowing what I know now compared to back then

Way to bring a post back from the dead
I still say the 16g is the best, if you started out with the 11b turbo, make sure you upgrade to the larger oil/water pipes that a 16g requires. You can get them off of any 1g 4g63t dsm,4g63t galant, evo 1-3 or. You can also modify your existing tubes, with a little drilling/cutting. Or you can go aftermarket. If going aftermarket don' t use silicone hoses for the oil as silicone "sweats" oil. - found that out the hard way.

50 trim also works well and can be had for cheap, will spool very similar to a Evo 16G and runs hard up top. Just a thought.

I wonder if they sell an 8cm housing anyone know? would be a good match for a 50 trim or evo 3 turbo.
