How many hours do you think you had into the AWD portion of the process?

20 hours for removal and installation of rear subframe. At that point I was able to drive the car again (still FWD) with the subframe in place.

The driveshaft mounts were fairly easy, maybe 2 hours max.

Front motor mount was an hour or two from fab, welding, to painted complete piece.

Rear motor mount took a little longer due to the multiple pieces involved, 3-5 hours.

OK, I supposed to be selling something today, so hopefully, I have the money to make up buying this. It seems like anytime I sell one thing, I have to buy two things to make it up!

Anyway, very interested in the DVD and I'll feel less silly about asking what might be obvious questions. I'm particularly courious about what happens to the gas tank, if a custom driveshaft has to be fabricated, and whether not 1st really woth holding aout for a 2nd gen AWD tranny over a 1st gen AWD.

Well, I have my DVD ordered, but I just came across this thread. I am not familiar with the term "boomerang mount" Can you give a basic description here.
And should I have left thwe 1.5 in the car while doing the front and rear mounts? I already have mine out.

Mount that attaches to the rear differential.

If the 1.5L is already out, then instead of doing the front motor mount first, you will want to do it last. It's all outlined on the DVD.

if anyone is having playback or skipping issues on the dvd, pm me with your cd key printed on the dvd, time (if possible) or section of the skipping, and what type of playback issue you are having.

I know theres a few out there that are having issues.

i wll be buying a different type of dvd r and I am in the process of re-rendering and compiling a fresh version of the swap dvd from the original dv tapes.

so any playback issue should be eliminated after im done with this.

That means that I HAD play problems, but Evo sent me another cd. Well, that didn't do well either. I had been putting it in my big screen TV and DVD player. Afriend told me that I should have been using the computer slot. (duh) Well, I tried, and viola! everything worked super. Ok, I'm sure you all know to use the computer, but maybe there is someone as challenged as I. If so, you have nothing to lose, and maybe something to gain.

Obviously I can't make a DVD that will work perfectly in every component out there

I play them all before they ship out and they work great using VLC player on the computer.

I also throw them in my 10 year old Sony DVD player and they work fine there too.
